Composition: Mg = 4.3-5.2%; Mn = 0.5 1.0%; Cr = 0.05 0.25; Ti 0.15% or less; Al allowance.
Description: the ER5183 is magnesium containing nearly 5% and high manganese content of aluminum magnesium wire, with good corrosion resistance, thermal cracking resistance, high strength and good forging quality. After the weld anodization is still white, it can provide a good color matching for welding joints. For some alloys, the strength of welding joint is slightly higher than that of ER5356.
